The man behind the camera

Okay let me contain this excitement so I, Kai Robinson, have been given the privilege to feature on my beautiful wife’s blog.... What to talk about? Check it out.......

First I want to big up my Queen for being consistent with Adorning Cultures. I know that I've been inspired even though it's aimed at females. The level of honesty and dealing with real life has been a breath of fresh air.

Okay, so the mystery surrounding Philippa’s husband will be revealed right after this commercial break - don't you move!

..........................................................................................

Welcome back and thank you for reading on - I knew you would stay (",). First of all, you must know that the amazing photos featured on this blog are taken by well, me! However, I'm not a photographer, I like to call it a SH (Supportive Husband) role.  Initially when Philippa wanted me to photograph her outfits, let’s just say I was not the man I am today. It's definitely grown on me, and I've even got in on the act myself (see pics below).

So, a little bit about myself: I am a Learning Mentor in a secondary school and a Youth Pastor at my local church. I love people and putting smiles on peoples’ faces because through that simple expression a person’s perspective of a negative situation can change instantly, and start them on a reflection process within themselves. I really believe this is a gift I have been given.

"Find what you like doing and it won't be far from what you should be doing"

One of my desires in life is to see people realise their gifts and operate in them. I used to try to copy others in the search of my own gift and was neither comfortable or satisfied with where it lead me (it was sort of like Shaquile O'Neil trying on Kevin Hart’s shoes). I’ve grown to be okay with finding what my gift is, because I’ve seen it change peoples’ lives and inspire people to keep going.

I really believe that, "A gift is not necessarily one that benefits you, but others instead."

Well, I've enjoyed this experience but sadly it must come to an end, well it doesn't, but Phils is looking over my shoulder. Be  assured readers that you are blessed and highly favoured!  I pray that God will not only reveal his gift to you but you will own it and be bold.

‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future’.
- Jeremiah 29:11

Mad love,

Guy Behind The Camera.
